Close cooperation
Process development takes place in close cooperation
with you. Your intimate knowledge of your own product and Glatt's
extensive process engineering know-how make for an unbeatable combination.
Feasibility study
Your product is tested for its technical feasibility and tested
using our processes in Glatt's own laboratories. Our Lab
Equipment can be used to manufacture a few kilos of sample product.
Mini-Glatt can be used for trials of minimal product quantities
below 100g.
Process optimization and scale-up
Trials are held using pilot plants in Glatt's own process laboratories
to determine optimum process parameters and the best possible design
of production equipment. These can achieve throughput rates of 20
- 50 kg per batch or per hour with continuous processes. Larger
product samples can be manufactured using production scale equipment
through our Contract
Manufacturing service.

Loaned equipment
For more extensive trial series or products which present handling
difficulties, we offer rental lab equipment. Our process engineers
will test the equipment on site / provide the relevant staff instruction.
