The all-round service package for your project

Alongside the expertise concentrated in our Technology Center, we also offer customers support in planning their plant concept - we will even assume responsibility for plant qualification and validation. Glatt will install your plant and train the operating staff - if required even before delivery. Which means tangible savings of both time and money. And we will be pleased to take charge of ensuring the availability of your equipment - we will provide regular maintenance. With the relevant servicing agreements, we will be on site to assist you within 48 hours. Spare parts are supplied to original equipment quality standard with a full warranty - both on components and on the complete plant. And if your requirements should change over time, we can convert your equipment so that it precisely meets your specific product and process needs.

History

Founded back in 1954 by Werner Glatt, the company experienced headlong growth thanks to its close contacts with the pharmaceuticals industry in nearby Basle. The introduction and development of fluid bed technology around the world is inextricably linked to the name Glatt. The fluid bed dryer was subsequently further developed to create a granulator, the granulator became a coater, and the coater became.... (and so on). The enormous potential offered by fluid bed technology is still not fully exhausted to this day, and is unique in its versatility.
From Binzen to the whole world - the challenges posed by the free market economy and a deliberate strategy of maximum customer proximity have always been driving forces at Glatt. Today, Glatt products are manufactured in a number of locations and sold around the world.
As the Group headquarters, Binzen has a finger on the pulse of Group developments, and is also responsible for batch fluid bed-related activities.
1997 saw the inauguration of the new Technology Center in Binzen - a highly modern pharmaceutical production center dedicated to the development and optimization of products on behalf of our customers.

Bühlmühle in 1961

A worthwhile place to visit!

Binzener Bühlmühle, first mentioned in historical annals in 1291, lies at the heart of the Markgräflerland region, surrounded by sun-drenched vineyards. Today, it is the nerve centre of the Glatt Group of Companies.
Its proximity to Basle and Freiburg, the neighbouring Black Forest and the Swiss Alps make this a highly attractive location. And importantly too, the Germany-Switzerland-France border triangle is world famous for its excellent cuisine. Why not mix business with pleasure, take time out and enjoy the region's hospitality with a glass of excellent wine.
