Dresden is an important product location for the Glatt Group
with innovative technologies relating to all aspects of the subjects
of product handling and wet blending. Around 200 motivated staff
develop, design and manufacture machines for development and production.
GST is responsible within the Glatt Group for the development,
design and production of components and systems for product handling
and vertical granulators.
GST runs its own process laboratory involved in process development work.
In the field of product handling, this location is responsible for the planning
of complex solutions.
GST also manufactures laboratory equipment and machine components as a producing
location for the Glatt Group. Products are sold from Dresden exclusively through
the Glatt sales companies.
History
Glatt Systemtechnik GmbH (GST) was founded in 1991 from a division
of the company Hochvakuumtechnik Dresden (HVD) and looks back on
many years of experience in the field of precision and process equipment
construction.
Today, GST is an important producing location of the Glatt Group.
Its workforce has grown from 132 in the year 1991 to currently 190, with a
large proportion of the employees active in the development and design sector.
