ProCell LabSystem - Glatt lab unit with increased and improved flexibility.
"ProCell LabSystem" is the largest mobile Glatt lab unit. All fluid bed and spouted bed processes can be tested in batch and continuous mode with only one equipment. The lab unit will now offer four different process systems. Customers can select one, two, three or all four process options, based on the needs of the desired product or project, as necessary.

Research Project „TSM“
Glatt AG has developed a procedure to investigate the mixing behaviour in pan coaters. A device has been developed which can identify the movement pattern of tablets in a dynamic process, including statistical analysis. This optical system can detect single coloured tablets and determine their relative time, location and speed across the entire tablet bed surface in real time.

Glatt offers the GPCG 2 Isolator in dust- or solvent-explosion-proof design. All laboratory scale process inserts of the conventional GPCG 2 LabSystem for drying, granulation and particle coating are available. Even the Plug&Play-concept was implemented consistently. All parts have been integrated into the shapely design of the housing.

ACHEMA 2003 saw the first introduction of the newly developed ProCell by Glatt. The innovation was the integration of nozzles into a spouted bed, which was never done before in technical scale. Three years later we are proud to say that we are satisfied with the results of the development effort we put into this technology. For more than 80 customers we tested more than 120 different products and about 80% thereof successfully.

Production facility for sodium cyanide.
In January 2005 Glatt Ingenieurtechnik did sign a 2-digit Million € contract with the biggest Russian oil company Lukoil for the supply of a sodium cyanide production plant, as a result of intensive and detailed negotiations, including an American partner for licensing the technology.

Glatt Weimar builds yeast factory in Syria
Syrian Sugar Organisation places order for extension of an existing baking yeast factory.
At the end of 2002 Glatt Weimar did receive an order from the Syrian Sugar Organisation, belonging to the Ministry of the Interior, for a 5Million€ worth extension of an existing baking yeast factory. The project foresees to expand the daily production from 32tons to 50tons, whilst guarenteeing high quality parameters.

Glatt Weimar builds factory for dairy products in Russia
Babyfood production facility completed.
Last year Glatt Weimar did complete a project in Brjansk (Russia) with the start-up of a complete production line for various "babyfood products", such as sterilized milk, vitamin enriched milk, cream, kefir, yoghurt, cream cheese etc.
Glatt Weimar did act as general contractor, i.e. was in charge of plant design, equipment supply, installation and commissioning of the entire plant, which has been integrated into an existing building.
