21 April 2008, Prime Minister of Thuringia Mr. Dieter Althaus as well as the Lord Mayor of Weimar Mr. Stefan Wolf, CEO of the Glatt Group Mr. Reinhard Nowak accompanied by his wife Martina and Managing Director of Glatt Ingeniuertechnik, Mr. Reinhard Böber together set the foundation stone to the new expansion at Glatt Weimar. The laying of the foundation stone was witnessed by the entire Glatt Weimar staff, local media and many guests from all over. Completion of the new building, which will create office space for 60 people and laboratory space for another 15 is scheduled for the end of the year.
