Information on data processing

in accordance with Art. 13 and 14 GDPR
– data processing of customers and suppliers (B2B) –

Herewith we would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data (personal data is defined as any information which refers to you personally):

Data processing

We process your personal data as business partner to prepare an offer, to fulfill the agreement, for accounting & cost accounting as well as to fulfill contractual and legal obligations in accordance to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. (b) of the GDPR. The business relationship exists between your company and us. If external requirements (within the tax or commercial law) exist, it may happen that we compare your personal data with lists published by the public authorities. We reserve the right to process your data in accordance to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. (b) of the GDPR for marketing, internal statistics, internal marketing and market research. The legitimate interests are: the optimization of processes. Hereby we always respect your interests, fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms.

If you have given your consent or if we informed you in accordance with § 7 UWG (DE) / § 107 TKG (AT), we will use your data to inform you about our products, services, upcoming events and other interesting facts. You have the right to oppose the use of his personal data at any time with- out stating any reasons.

The personal data provided are necessary to fulfil the agreement. Without this data we cannot fulfill the agreement with your company.

Each time you use the contact form “hotline”, logs with the following data are created and processed for statistical purposes, without recording the identity of the individual user:

  • Referrer (page whose link led you to this website)
  • Search terms (using search engines for referrers)
  • The IP address is evaluated to determine the country of origin and the provider
  • Browser, operating system, installed plug-ins and screen resolution
  • Time spent on the page

The aforementioned data is collected based on our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sent. 1 lit. (f) of the GDPR and is processed by us for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection to the website,
  • Ensuring that use of our website is comfortable,
  • Evaluation of system security and stability, as well as for further administrative purposes.

We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of any concrete indications of illegal use. The data will be deleted immediately if it is no longer required, but no later than after six months.

Your personal data will partly be passed on to third parties (tax consultants, legal advisers). External IT consultants will partly have access to your data (within the order processing in accordance with Art. 28 of the GDPR). Hereby the service providers act bound by directives, what is ensured by corresponding contracts. Those service providers are partly located outside the EU/ the EEC and provide an adequate level of data protection by concluding standard contractual clauses/ by binding corporate rules/ by the privacy shield. Group companies

We are part of the Glatt Group, a global group of companies with databases in different countries. We inform you that we may transfer your personal data – for the purposes mentioned above – with affiliated companies within the Glatt Group. If necessary, we may share your personal data to one of the Group’s databases outside the EU/ the EEC. These companies provide an adequate level of data protection by concluding standard contractual clauses/ by binding corporate rules/ by the privacy shield. Retention and deletion of the data

Your data will be retained as long as it’s necessary for the above-mentioned purposes. Your personal data will be deleted at the latest after the termination of the contractual relationship and the legal retention periods of the civil, commercial and tax law.

Data protection rights

Herewith we inform you that you have the right to check, correct or delete your personal data in accordance with Art. 15 et seq. of the GDPR and under the conditions defined therein. Furthermore, you have the right to retract or to object the processing as well as the transfer of your data. You also have the right (Art. 77 of the GDPR) to lodge a complaint with a data protection regulatory authority, if you believe that the processing of your personal data violated the GDPR. If the processing is based on Article 6 Para. 1 (a) of the GDPR or Article 9 Para. 2 (a) of the GDPR, you also have the right to revoke your consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing that took place until your consent was revoked.
