Entfernte Gefahrstoffe werden aufkonzentriert, statt mit Strahl oder L\u00f6sungsmittel gemischt zu werden. Daher ist keine Entsorgung verseuchter Strahlmittel notwendig. Die Abtragsgeschwindigkeit variiert stark mit der Schichtdicke und Natur der Deckschicht. Teilweise sind sehr hohe Bearbeitungsgeschwindigkeiten erzielbar. Es lassen sich genau definierte Bereiche pr\u00e4zise Schicht f\u00fcr Schicht abtragen. Pr\u00e4destiniert f\u00fcr den Einsatz in sensiblen Bereichen. Emissionen werden direkt am Entstehungsort fixiert sodass selbst in unmittelbarer Umgebung kein Schmutz anf\u00e4llt.
