Diese wird anschlie\u00dfend durch einen Extruder gepresst \u2013 dabei entstehen l\u00e4ngliche Extrusionsstr\u00e4nge; ihre St\u00e4rke h\u00e4ngt vom Durchmesser der \u00d6ffnungen in der Extrusionsplatte oder im Extrusionskorb ab. Aus technischen Gr\u00fcnden sind diese Pellets gr\u00f6\u00dfer als 600 Mikrometer.<\/p>\n<p>Was ist ma\u00dfgeblich f\u00fcr die Qualit\u00e4t der Extrudate? Das Verh\u00e4ltnis von Fl\u00fcssigkeit zu Feststoff sowie die Lochgr\u00f6\u00dfe des Extruders. Die anschlie\u00dfende Trocknung sorgt f\u00fcr die Verfestigung der Pellets.<\/p>\n<p>Selbst wenn die Kugelform der Extrudate nicht perfekt ist, schafft die gleichm\u00e4\u00dfige Oberfl\u00e4che doch gute Voraussetzungen f\u00fcr ein anschlie\u00dfendes Befilmen. \u00dcbrigens: F\u00fcr viele pharmazeutische Anwendungen erreichen extrudierte Pellets die geeignete Qualit\u00e4t, wenn ausreichend mikrokristalline Cellulose\u00a0 zugesetzt wird.<\/p>\n<p>Extrusion und Sph\u00e4ronisation \u2013 in vier Verfahrensschritten:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Befeuchten der Pulvermischung<\/li>\n<li>Bildung zylinderf\u00f6rmiger Agglomerate durch Extrusion<\/li>\n<li>Brechen und Ausrunden der geformten Masse (Extrudat) zu kugelf\u00f6rmigen Pellets durch Sph\u00e4ronisation<\/li>\n<li>Trocknen des fertigen Produkts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Welche Pellet-Gr\u00f6\u00dfen sind mit Extrusion und Sph\u00e4ronisation m\u00f6glich?<\/h2>\n<p>Im Prinzip stellen wir jede gew\u00fcnschte Pellet-Gr\u00f6\u00dfe her \u2013 ab 600 Mikrometern. Unsere Pelletieranlagen k\u00f6nnen mit Extrusion und Sph\u00e4ronisation Partikelgr\u00f6\u00dfen bis zu mehreren Zentimetern herstellen.<\/p>\n<p>Gut zu wissen: In der pharmazeutischen Industrie werden f\u00fcr die meisten Anwendungen Pellets mittlerer Partikelgr\u00f6\u00dfen von 600 bis 2000 Mikrometern verwendet; in anderen Industrien k\u00f6nnen Pellets bis zu mehreren Zentimetern gro\u00df sein.
