Pelletizing lines with extruders and rounders are always in demand when moist masses or granules are to be converted into elongated, cylindrical or spherical extrusion pellets. Glatt extruders and rounders can be integrated into complete pelleting lines or used as stand-alone units. In this way, the optimum can be put together on a customer-specific basis. Pellets with a compact structure that are dispersible or readily soluble in liquids, depending on their composition, offer many advantages for process engineering.

Our extrusion talent in lab scale: the continuous Glatt basket extruder GBE 130 for exceptionally fast extrusion. A unique technique in conjunction with easy handling guarantees optimum extrusion.

P 20

The Glatt pelletizing container P20 for ideal spheronization of extrudates convinces by giving best spheronization results with very short residence times. The P20 is used with our 2 in 1 lab unit TMG, which allows granulation and pelletization in one table top unit.

The modular construction provides optimum adaption to your specific products and for different processes. Suitable for batch sizes 0.3 to 1.0 liter.

Be it food, feed or pharmaceutical applications our pelletizer/spheronizer P is suitable for all ranges of applications , and suitable for continuous or non-continuous processes. Suitable for batch sizes from 1.2 to 85 liters.

Pelletizing system

The most compact all-in-one pelletizing system for batch and continuous processes
The Glatt Pelletizing System is ideal for producing multiparticulate dosage forms using pellets manufactured with a high percentage of active ingredients.

Pellets can be used to fill sachets or capsules, and can also be processed into tablets as multiple unit pellet systems (MUPS).

Using a basket extruder technology, Glatt pelletizing lines provide a more gentle extrusion than screw extruders at low, stable temperatures. The downstream pelletizer forms the extrudate into spherical pellets.
