Dr. Michael Jacob is Head of Operations Food, Feed & Fine Chemicals at Glatt Ingenieurtechnik GmbH. Dr. Jacob graduated at the OVGU in 1995 and has held various leading positions at Glatt since then (Head of R&D and Head of Technology Center in Weimar).
He obtained his doctorate at the Otto-von-Guericke Universität Magdeburg in 2010 with his thesis “Experimental studies and modeling of processes in horizontal fluidized beds for spray granulation“.
In the course of his professional career, he has been successfully involved in a large number of industrial projects in the fields of continuous fluidized bed and spouted bed technology. Research and development projects have also been a focus of his work.
