Technical innovations in system architecture to improve product quality and efficiency
Level of automation is only possible when different key elements are synchronized within one ecosystem, including a completely automated electronic batch record (eBR), eliminating manual material handling using industrial robots and AGVs, as well as intelligence about all production equipment. To achieve this, Glatt has developed the Production Flow Control (PFC) system for connectivity at shop floor level as part of Bayer’s SOL1 project in Leverkusen in accordance with project-specific requirements of Bayer.
